The Berlin fire department was founded in 1851, making it the oldest professional fire department in Germany. With around 5,500 employees and 35 professional fire stations, it is also the largest professional fire department in Germany. In this responsible position, you will take on the management of interdisciplinary IT projects and actively shape the digitalization of our organization. You will work at the interface between technology, organization and administration and make a significant contribution to the further development of IT deployment - always in accordance with the requirements of the Senate Administration. Your tasks will include: The standardization of project management processes and structures: You develop and establish uniform procedures for effective project management. the introduction of control tools: you implement tools to monitor project progress and control resources, budgets and schedules. Coordinating interdisciplinary teams: you manage collaboration between specialist departments and the ES ICT division within your projects. the analysis and optimization of IT project management structures: you carry out as-is analyses and develop implementation concepts for new IT processes and systems - from planning to implementation. Policy work and consulting: You develop strategic IT principles, document them and advise both the management of the authorities and specialist users as well as employee representatives.
