Postdoctoral Researcher (gn*) Life Science
Fixed term of 3 years | Full- time with 38,5 hours/week | Salary grade 13 TV-L | European Institute for Molecular Imaging | Job ID: 10899
We have a clear social mission and, with our focus on healthcare, research, and teaching, we bear a unique responsibility.
With the help of imaging, we perform cutting-edge research in vascular, inflammatory, infectious, neurodegenerative diseases, and cancer. The EIMI is located in the Multiscale Imaging Center (MIC), which hosts research groups from our university combining a broad range of state-of-the-art imaging technologies for the investigation of biomedical questions.
The candidate must hold a PhD in life sciences (obtained no longer than 3 years ago)
Experience in wet lab work with a solid foundation in basic molecular biology techniques
Experience and qualification (license) in working with laboratory animals (mice)
Good oral and written communication skills - English (required) and German (desired)
Career development in a multidisciplinary and committed research team - mentorship, scientific thinking, problem solving, and teamwork will be strongly promoted
