SAP APPLICATION DEVELOPER - HCM (F/M/D)

THE IVZ

We are the internal IT service provider for ARD—that is, for all ARD member broadcasters, Deutschlandradio, and DW—under the leadership of rbb, and we provide central IT services at the locations of the state broadcasters and at Deutschlandradio. Cologne is the preferred location, but working at one of our IVZ locations in Leipzig, Potsdam, or Hamburg at one of the state broadcasting corporations is also possible. Remote work is also an option.

IMMEDIATE START, FIXED-TERM FOR 4 YEARS FOR THE INFORMATION PROCESSING CENTER (IVZ)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analysis, Design, Implementation, and Support: You will be responsible for the technical and business-specific support of SAP HCM applications across the entire spectrum, from payroll to time management.
• Customizing and Development: You will independently perform customizing in the relevant HCM modules and further develop ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces.
• Solution-Oriented Consulting: You will actively communicate with business departments, analyze requirements, and develop practical, sustainable solution proposals.
• Project Work and Further Development: You will contribute your expertise to IVZ projects, particularly in the context of the transformation to SAP H4S4.

YOUR PROFILE

A college degree (e.g., Business Informatics,

Computer Science) or comparable qualification in the IT field

with many years of professional experience, as well as:

• in-depth knowledge of SAP development (ABAP/4, ABAP OO) and the customization of HCM modules (especially PA, PT, OM, PY),
• Experience with SAP HCM on S/4HANA / H4S4 or migration to these platforms,
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and implement them consistently,
• Very good German language skills (at least C1).

Fair Terms and Conditions: We offer a salary in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. Provided you have the necessary education and professional experience, your compensation will be based on Group C of our salary scale. In addition, you’ll receive vacation pay, a family allowance, a company pension plan, 31 days of vacation, and a subsidy for a public transportation company pass.
