The ZIB is the central IT service provider for the Lower Saxony judiciary and is responsible for a modern IT infrastructure with approximately 23,500 clients. In addition, our team of 400 colleagues manages numerous digitization projects aimed at modernizing the judiciary.
To strengthen our team in Department 3104—Server Systems and Data Centers—we are seeking a
Citrix System Administrator / System Management Specialist (f/m/d)
Your responsibilities:
- As part of a team, you will operate, administer, and monitor portions of the Citrix infrastructure used by the Lower Saxony judicial system.
- You will be responsible for the operation and further development of Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) solutions for monitoring, documenting, and automating data center resources and infrastructure components.
- You will contribute to IT projects, such as the introduction of new technologies, the modernization of existing infrastructure, or the implementation of monitoring, automation, and cloud solutions.
What Sets You Apart:
- You have a relevant college degree (e.g., in computer science) or equivalent skills and experience.
- You have strong knowledge of Citrix technologies, particularly the server side of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (e.g., PVS, StoreFront) and the Citrix XenServer virtualization platform.
- Ideally, you have prior experience working with virtualization technologies and modern operating systems.
- In addition, we would welcome experience in administering DCIM solutions (e.g., Schneider EcoStruxure, FSAS ISM, Eaton, HyperView, etc.).
- You are a team player, proactive, and service-oriented.
- You have German language skills at the C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, as well as English skills typical for the IT field.
A willingness to undergo a security clearance check in accordance with Section 7(1) of the Lower Saxony SÜG is required.
